 Due to a leak in the head gasket, water got in the oil of my 1987 Chevy S10 and ruined the engine. I took the pickup to Phoenix Engine for an overhaul estimate. The overhaul took about 10 days and the final charges were extremely close to the original estimate. Phoenix Engine gave a 12,000 mile/12 month warranty on their work, with 4 to 5 checkups during this period. On each check they serviced my truck within 3 to 7 days after I called. I am very pleased with Phoenix Engine. My truck runs extremely well and I expect to get another 100,000 miles out of it.  My dad and I were rebuilding my 1971 Chevy El Camino with a 402 CID. Phoenix Engine did our valve job, and we also purchased the crankshaft and bearings from them. My dad has been a mechanic for 50 years, so he could tell Randy knew what he was talking about. When we came back to pick up our heads and crankshaft, Randy had done only the work that we had asked for and nothing else. Both heads looked nice and we had no trouble with the engine after we put it all back together.

A good mechanic is hard to find. I believe I found several when I first contacted Phoenix Engine. My custom 350 engine was more than a routine rebuilding of an engine, and it took a good while to rebuild and install. Obviously it also cost a substantial amount of money to build a custom motor. However in the end all the money and time proved to be well spent. I have power to spare. I recommend Phoenix Engine to anyone who is willing to spend some time and money in order to get a teriffic engine built by expert mechanics.

I find myself once again writing to thank you and your staff. Words cannot express the quality and expertise all of you possess when you work on an engine. You rebuilt the 454 engine in my 1981 Chevy 1-ton Dually - an excellent job! Two years later the truck was stolen, and due to insurance priorities it was delivered and worked on at a local Chevy dealer. When I received the truck back after 2 months, it ran terrible. I convinced my insurance agent to use Phoenix Engine for another evaluation. And after you and your staff worked on the engine it ran perfectly again.
